Explosion-protected equipment
Certificate on Conformity on explosion-protection norms or Certificate about explosion-protection is an official document confirming that production corresponds to requirements of explosion-protection and is carried out according to legislation of Russian Federation.
In our country there are standards of series GOST 22782, GOST Р 51330, GOST Р 52350 and GOST Р MEK 60079 which regulate classification, requirements to design, test methods and marks of explosion-protected equipment intended for operation in explosive gas environment, including in oil refining and petrochemical industry.
Specified standard documents establish classification of explosion-protected equipment and divide it into groups, subgroups, temperature classes, levels and kinds.
Rules and procedures of carrying out obligatory certification of explosion-protected equipment are established by the Decree ''About confirmation of certification rules of electric equipment for explosive environments'' from 19.03.03 № 28/10.
List of indicators necessary and sufficient for characteristic of fire danger of technological environments in conditions of production, processing, transportation and storage are defined by developer of project according to NPB 23-2001 "Fire danger of technological environments. Nomenclature of indicators".
Rules of carrying out certification are established by Federal organ of Executive power on standardization, metrology and certification together with Federal organ of Executive power, specially authorized in the field of industrial safety.
Certificate of explosion-protection is an obligatory component of the GOST Р Certificate of Conformity and is made out during period from 2 till 20 days under condition of granting of all documents.
Experts of the Center of Production Certification "Standards-group" will help you in preparing documentation, will consult and assist in minimisation of registration terms of the Certificate.
List of necessary documents:
1) For home manufacturers:
1.registered specifications;
2. operation manual;
3. Basic schemes, drawings, design documentation (depending on explosion-protection type);
4. program of carrying out acceptance tests (confirmed in ROSTEKHNADZOR);
5. technique of carrying out acceptance tests (confirmed in ROSTEKHNADZOR);
6. act of entrance examinations (with a stamp of ROSTEKHNADZOR);
7. sample.
